The paved Sabino Canyon Road (closed to cars) is one of Arizona's best long-walk-with-a-dog experiences. Creek water year-round, shade in the canyon, and easy bailout points. Backcountry trails inside the canyon are NOT dog-friendly — stay on the paved road.
